Rugby has become a popular and significant sport in Russia; to a far larger extent than people realise in countries where the sport has been played for much longer. According to recent statistics, there are at least rugby clubs and well over 21 players, male and female, in the Russian Federation. The bottom line is - I love to read! However, having written 14 books of my own, mostly about rugby, there has been time these last few weeks to reflect on which are my favourite books on the great game. So for no reason here is one man's selection of some best rugby books you should try to read this year or in the future. Rugby Romance Novels. The title is not BS, this *is* "The Best Book of Rugby Songs Ever." Bear in mind though, that the books "Rugby Songs" and "More Rugby Songs" were rather heavily censored and explicitives were deleted (not that it takes much imagination to figure the rhymes for runt, stick, block, or buck); however this book has the same fault as both of the others, there's no score or /5(11). A decade out of date now, as it only runs until the end of the World Cup, but history doesn’t change, and this book documents every edition of the Rugby League World Cup. With some interesting tales and matches, as well as comprehensive statistics, this is a must for any rugby league and stats boffin. Discover the best Rugby in Best Sellers.
